BMW X7
The Kalfayan Law Firm, APC and The Katriel Law Firm, PC, are jointly investigating a potential defect in the transfer case within BMW X7 vehicles. The transfer case has been known to cause vehicles to shudder when driving at slow to medium speeds, driving slowly around corners, or driving uphill. Costs for the repair of a transfer case are dependent on the extent of the damage and the parts or fluids needed for the repairs. These sensors have been known to signal oil pressure issues at low RPMs or while the vehicle is not moving despite oil levels, temperatures, and pressures being normal. COLGATE
The Kalfayan law Firm, APC and The Katriel Law Firm, PC are jointly investigating claims on behalf of consumers related to Colgate Optic White Renewal toothpaste as to whether representations made on the packaging label were false and or misleading. The packaging of Colgate Optic White Renewal toothpaste prominently contains the following representation: “Removes 10 Years of Yellow Stains”. A competitor of Colgate-Palmolive recently filed a lawsuit claiming that these claims were false. This representation was found to be not supported by Colgate’s evidence and the National Advertising Review Board (appellate level of Better Business Bureau) recommended that Colgate discontinue this advertising. Colgate had this advertising despite knowing it was false. We are investigating whether this label is false. If it is, consumers who purchased this tooth whitening toothpaste may have been overcharged by paying for a product that does not conform to the representations made on its packaging.
If you or a family member purchased Colgate Optic White Renewal toothpaste, you may be entitled to compensation if claims against Colgate-Palmolive are successful. Please contact our offices for more information.
HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK MILDLY SWEET CHOCOLATE BAR
The Kalfayan Law Firm, APC and The Katriel Law Firm, PC, are jointly investigating a potentially hazardous level of lead and cadmium found in Hershey’s Special Dark Mildly Sweet chocolate bars. These dark chocolates are often marketed as a “healthier” treat option. Consuming heavy metals can cause health problems in both children and adults. There is no safe amount of lead or cadmium for human consumption and yet this chocolate bar contains both elements at levels that could make consumers sick if they consumed it daily. Hershey’s never warned its consumers that these two dangerous elements were in its chocolate bars. Please contact the Kalfayan Law Firm if you purchased Hershey’s Special Dark Mildly Sweet Chocolate Bar.
EA-NFL MADDEN NFL 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, AND 23
The Kalfayan Law Firm, APC and The Katriel Law Firm, PC are jointly investigating a potential antitrust violation related to the sale price of Electronic Arts’ (“EA”) Madden NFL 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 video games. By including more than six named (and National Football League Players’ Association (“NFLPA”) represented) players EA was required to acquire a NFLPA license. EA was not allowed to negotiate individually with the players and instead was forced to pay a supra-competitive price for the license. The cost of this license was then passed on to customers by an increased sales price. We believe that all purchasers of the NFL Madden games from 2018 to today were affected by these higher prices and would have paid less had the license requirement not been in place. Please contact the Kalfayan Law Firm if you purchased any of the following videogames: EA Madden NFL 18,19, 20, 21, 22, and 23
